First Eng is a select group of consulting engineers committed to providing a prompt,effective and competitive service to the home and commercial industry.

Our inspecting engineers have a minimum of 10 years experience in design and remediation.

Many of our staff are affilliates or chartered members of Engineers Australia.

First Eng is an environmentally conscious enterprise. We strive to minimise the amount of paper generated by our work. We only deliver documentation in electronic format that you can readily view and share with builders,council,certifiers,body corporate,and other stake holders.

AT CLIENT PREMISES CONSULTATIONS

Have the cracks in your masonry wall grown too large?

Is the side of your house crooked?

Do you have corroded structural steel?

Is concrete spalling off your slab?

Is your stormwater drainage leaking?

First Eng offers an effective inspection/consultation service, aimed at resolving your building problems. Our engineer will visit your premises to inspect, assess and discuss solutions that will put the problem to rest.

A clear and concise email summary and/or a comprehensive report can also be issued at request.

CERTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION

Do you need to demonstrate that your building is structurally sound and stable?

First Eng can inspect, verify and where permissable, issue a Structural Integrity Certificate.

If your building does not meet BCA requirements, First Eng can prepare a Rectification or Remediation Report.

If your certifier requires confirmation of adequately constructed components, First Eng can inspect, verify and where permissable, issue a Structural Compliance Certificate.

We can also check special structures for adequate structural, hydraulic performance or finish.

For example: Formwork, balustrades, falsework or temporary supports, lifting gear, steel reinforcements, stages and spectator stands, drainage systems and more.

CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL DESIGN

First Eng uses state of the art design techniques to deliver infrastructure solutions for residential, commercial and industrial projects.

All First Eng designs are certified by Chartered Engineers listed on the NER (National Engineering Register).

CONDITION REPORTS

First Eng are experts in the preparation of condition reports, comprising dilapidation reports, defect reports, damage reports, structurally integrity reports and peer reviews.
